Civil Grand Jurors' Association of California (CGJA)
MISSION
To strengthen the Yolo County Civil Grand Jury by recruiting dedicated citizens, educating the public on its vital role, and helping provide each jury with the resources to serve as an effective voice for the community.
What is the Civil Grand Jury?
Each year, 19 local citizens are selected by the California Superior Court to investigate, report, and recommend improvements within county and city agencies, special districts, and other publicly funded organizations. Jurors review local operations, interview public officials, and examine how tax dollars are managed. Serving on the civil grand jury is a way to make a difference in our community.
Consider Joining the Yolo County Civil Grand Jury
Jury service runs from July 1 through June 30. Recruitment opens in early in the year. If you are a resident of Yolo County, 18 years or older, and have a desire to improve government efficiency and fairness, learn more and find out how to apply to the civil grand jury here.
